wu shi was born in 1894 in luozhou township, minhou county, which is today luozhou town in cangshan district, fuzhou city. from 1947, he risked his life to provide crucial intelligence to the cpc.

from his formative schooling to his revolutionary endeavors, from his advanced military training to the family legacy he upheld, the imprint of fuzhou was a constant throughout the journey of his youth.

hesacrificed his lifein 1950. the story of wu shi and fuzhou did not end. here in this land, his former home is protected, his story is told, and his spirit is passed down, keeping the hero's patriotic integrity alive for all time.
