daixian waterfall is situated in shuikou town, dehua county, fujian province. originating from the foot of the 1,782-meter shiniu mountain in eastern dehua, it boasts a sheer, single drop of 280.12 meters, earning it the title "the top 1 waterfall of east china."

the waterfall plunges down in two distinct streams: the daixian falls to the east and the youlou falls to the west.

the entire cascade is a truly majestic and spectacular sight. on a clear day, when struck by direct sunlight, the curtain of water glistens and rainbows flicker in and out of view, resembling a colossal, hanging curtain of pearls or a swirl of colorful, dancing silk.
