fuzhou, a national historical and cultural city, was first named "ye" during the qin and han dynasties. it was later renamed after a local mountain, mount fu, and is also known as rongcheng, the "banyan city." its history, spanning over 2,200 years, has nurtured the rich and vibrant mindu culture and forged a city spirit of "the belief that greatness comes from tolerance, much like an ocean is vast because it embraces all rivers."
