qida village, located in ankai township of fuzhou's lianjiang county, is hailed as "fuzhou's most beautiful fishing village." nestled against a mountain on one side and facing the sea on the other three, the village is also home to the 400-meter-plus baiyun mountain.
from its summit lies qiguanding (a peak named for its resemblance to a battle flag), where you can witness the spectacular panorama of the "maritime pasture." in the distance, small islands dot a vast, turquoise sea. closer to shore, countless fishing rafts and boats are aligned in neat, orderly formations within the aquaculture zones.
